Fire guts PDP Headquarters,Abuja…»»»

LIKE PAGE »»Barely hours after PDP accused APC of masterminding today’s Abuja bombing, the PDP headquarters situated at  Wadata Plaza, Michael Okpara Way, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja is on fire .An eyewitness claims the press section of the building is worse hit.. The PDP weeps. We are indeed grief-stricken. Our hearts go out to the bereaved, especially those who have been orphaned and widowed and those now deprived of their bread winners by this evil act. We share in their pain, their anguish and their loss and pray that those behind their grief must not escape justice,” the party said. “We stand by our earlier statements that these attacks on our people are politically motivated by unpatriotic persons, especially those in the APC, who have been making utterances and comments, promoting violence and blood-letting as a means of achieving political control.” Continue… “Nigerians are also aware of utterances by certain APC governors which have been aimed at undermining our security forces and emboldening insurgents against the people. “Those who have been promoting violence through their utterances can now see the monster they have created. They can now see the end product of their comments; a country flowing daily with the blood of the innocent. The question is; how do they feel when they see the mangled and blood-soaked bodies of their victims? How do they feel when they hear the voices of the dying and the injured? “Of course they feel nothing. Their hearts have been hardened and they are embittered by the fact that they have been rejected by the people. They are bitter because the people have chosen to rally round the government they love and voted for; but must they chose the path of violence and bloodletting as a response to the wishes and aspiration of the people. Urging all well meaning Nigerians to stand up and join President Goodluck Jonathan in his untiring efforts to check terrorism in the country, the PDP caution those fueling the attacks to retrace their steps, rid themselves of bitterness and desperation and seek forgiveness from God. The party, in solidarity with the people also shelved all official engagements while praying God to grant the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss.VIEW PHOTO»»

Woman Tried To Kidnap Baby Through Window, Caught By Father »»»

PHOTO»»»»Thursday, April 10, 2014 Woman Tried To Kidnap Baby Through Window, Caught By Father                                          Aransiola after she was caught this morning with a stolen baby.READ MORE»

For allegedly trying to steal a year old girl from her parents’ house early this morning, a 31-year old woman is currently being interrogated by the police at Ajuwon Station for kidnapping.

The suspect, Blessing Aransiola, was caught by the girl’s father, Mr. Seye Adanri, 34, as she attempted to escape with the girl, Oreoluwa Adanri.
Narrating the incident this morning at the Ajuwon Police Station where the suspect was taken to, mother of the girl, Mrs. Adebisi Adanri, 29, who lives with her husband at 21, Ademola Coker Street, Alagbole, Ogun State, said she was woken up by the cry of her daughter in the hands of the suspect around 4.a.m.
“She was trying to run away when my husband ran after her and caught her. I raised an alarm to draw neighbours’ attention to the incident and everybody came out to assist us,” Mrs. Adanri narrated.
She disclosed further that the suspect got into her house by tearing the window net.
“She picked up the baby as she was sleeping on the bed by the window and stole N5,000 kept in a purse,” she added.
But in her statement to the police, Blessing, who said she was homeless, denied stealing the baby and the money.
She told her interrogators that she was looking for where to sleep when she saw that there was a verandah near the window of the couple’s house.
“I was looking for a place to sleep when I saw the verandah. I was trying to sit down when the net got torn. I was wandering about, I didn’t steal any baby or money.
Last year November I sustained injury on my leg and I couldn’t walk properly again. Later, I developed problems in my eyes and I couldn’t see. Since then I have been moving about,” she stated.
She disclosed further that she was living at 5, Modupeola Street, Iju-Ishaga when co-tenants conspired against her and labelled her a thief, adding that this made the landlord to send her packing.
“I am not a thief. They accused me of kidnapping but I am not a kidnapper, I was just wandering about because I have nowhere to sleep. I did not kidnap any child,” she stated.
A resident of the area, Labinjo Abayomi, warned that the police at Ajuwon should not try to cover up the case, adding that residents were ready to ensure that the suspect was brought to book.
Another resident who identified himself as Soji Ademuyiwa commended the parents of the girl for not sleeping with both eyes closed, adding that but for their vigilance, the suspect would have taken the baby away.

Poor Men Are Violent Another Actress Blasts»»

# SEE PHOTO »»
upcoming actress Florence Johnson might be harsh about the altitude of poor men but she still made a lot of  sense.  Here’s what this struggling actress, Florence Johnson, told a reporter about “poor” men. She said there is no way she will marry a poor man because a poor man is, in her own understanding, a violent man. Her words below: “I am not particular about super rich dudes and of course I can never marry a poor man because I’m not poor and a poor man is a violent man. If he’s got a consistent job and doing averagely okay, that’s fine by me, we can take it up from there and build our own empire together.” The truth is that many rich men yesterday are broke and busted today and there are a lot of average guys who were, in the eyes of ladies, poor but they are doing great today. Ladies, please stop putting money ahead of love. The man you call poor today might become a governor or president tomorrow. Goodluck Jonathan had no shoes yesterday, but today Madam Patience husband is the president. Be guided!
